Dr. David Agor, DNP, PMHNP-BC, HIVPCP
Prescriber
Do you struggle with brain fog, fatigue, or mood linked to inflammatory flares, diet triggers or perimenopause? I assist clients navigating Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, & Trauma, particularly those who have not found relief through conventional care. Many of my clients present with co-occurring inflammatory or autoimmune conditions such as Chronic Fatigue, Crohn's/UC, Lupus, RA, Fibromyalgia, Eczema, Thyroid dysfunction and Migraine, where the interplay between physical & psychiatric health demands an integrative clinical lens. I maintain a specialized focus on affirming, evidence-based care for LGBTQ+ individuals & people of color.
My clinical work bridges neuroscience, nutrition, and psychiatry. I am a board-certified PMHNP & UPenn Ph.D. candidate. I am Harvard-certified in Nutritional Psychiatry with Advanced training in Microbiome. Treatment integrates nutritional interventions, culturally informed psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology (when clinically indicated).
If you've felt overlooked or told your symptoms have no explanation, you aren't alone. Frequently my patients spent years searching for a provider who considers the full clinical picture. I’m here to listen, think critically, and build a path forward with you. Healing happens when we attend to the body, mind, and lived experience together. I'm here to help.
Credentials
Dr. Agor brings a distinctive integrative lens to mental health—one rooted in emerging science on the gut-brain connection, nutritional interventions, and whole-person wellness. He holds advanced certification in Nutritional Psychiatry from Harvard Medical School and completed specialized training in Microbiota and the Brain at the Neuroscience School of Advanced Studies in Venice, Italy.
As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, David works with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, and mood disorder. His approach is especially well-suited for patients who:
Prefer to explore non-medication or low-medication pathways first
Have experienced limited relief from traditional treatment alone
Live with inflammatory or autoimmune conditions affecting their mental health
Seek a provider who understands LGBTQ+ individuals and communities of color
David's clinical toolkit integrates nutritional psychiatry protocols, culturally adopted CBT, for supportive therapy; when appropriate, thoughtfully prescribed psychiatric medication at optimized doses. He believes healing happens when we attend to the body, mind, and lived experience together; with strong therapeutic alliance as he accompanies his patients to wellbeing.
