Supervision

In addition to supervision within the group practice, Dr. Weingarden provides supervision to mental health professionals in other practices and treatment settings. Supervision models can include:
-
Learning a specific skill, such as type of therapy or competency with a specific population
-
General psychotherapy supervision that might cover numerous clients and treatment modalities
-
Psychodynamic supervision that tracks and individual client, as well as focusing on interpersonal dynamics within the supervisory relationship

Welcome to Weingarden Psychological Services, where I focus on creating a supportive environment for both clients and clinicians. If you are a mental health professional looking to become part of a passionate practice, I invite you to contact me. Let's work together to provide exceptional care and support for those who need it most.
Group Practice

What Sets Us Apart
-
Pre-licensed: You meet the state board requirements to practice such as the board's definition of an individual with "graduate training in psychology" (essentially a doctoral student eligible for practicum), OR you have completed your education but are pre-licensed, AND you would like to practice psychotherapy under a supervisor's license. For example, some people may do this to complete post-doctoral training hours.
-
Licensed, but do not want to deal with the complexity of managing a practice, you want colleagues within a group practice setting, and / or you would like to practice under Dr. Weingarden's supervision. Running a practice involves keeping health records, providing HIPAA-compliant secure communication and telehealth technology, creating a business (LLC) that is approved by the state board and attaining a tax identification number, setting up a business bank account, generating referrals, getting credentialed with insurance payors, negotiating reimbursement rates with said payors, submitting claims and resolving issues with denied claims. Weingarden Psychological Services already has these things set up and may be able to help you become credentialed more under our practice group more quickly than individual practitioner credentialing, not to mention, some insurance payers are closed to new practitioners.
