Dr. Marlene Strege, PhD
Doctor of Psychology
I specialize in CBT and IPT for depression and anxiety for adults, with additional focus on Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based approaches. My strong research background in neuroscience also informs my clinical work. I'm dedicated to providing evidence-based and compassionate care, in a collaborative and supportive environment, adapting care to each person’s unique needs and goals
I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Tech and completed my predoctoral internship at Western Psychiatric Hospital. After graduating, I completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, where I used neuroimaging to study brain vulnerabilities that can persist in treated depression.
