Anni Frick, LPC
Therapist, LPC
I work with individuals ages 14 and older, utilizing existential, person-centered, and feminist approaches to therapy. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where clients can safely explore vulnerability, personal growth, and healing. A central focus of my work is helping clients examine the connections between past experiences and their present and future identities.
In addition to individual therapy, I work with couples (18+) using Imago Relationship Therapy and the Gottman Method. These approaches support couples in navigating challenges, improving communication, and strengthening connection in a collaborative and safe space. I also have experience working with clients in the LGBTQ+ community, as well as those in consensually non-monogamous (CNM) relationships and kink communities.
I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University in 2020 and have been working in the mental health field since then. My clinical background includes completing mental health evaluations and consultations in both inpatient and emergency department settings at a rural hospital in New York State, as well as providing services in community mental health with a focus on couples and LGBTQ+ clients. Prior to my career in counseling, I worked in retail management, food service, and hospitality, experiences that continue to inform my understanding of resilience, communication, and human connection.
