WPS supports your full clinical potential
WPS is built around relationships, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellent clinical care. Many of our clinicians were connected through colleagues, mentors, or training experiences long before joining the practice—often within just two degrees of separation. That sense of community continues through consultation, mutual support, and professional growth.
Education is central to our identity. Our reputation has been built on exceptional supervision, clinical training, and mentorship. We strive to offer an environment where experienced clinicians and those still developing their expertise can learn from one another.
Employment Models
Independent Contracting (1099)
For qualified clinicians seeking professional independence, WPS offers a collaborative practice environment without many of the administrative demands of operating entirely on your own.
Independent contractors retain substantial control over their schedules, caseloads, time away, and clinical approaches. WPS provides shared infrastructure, including referrals, credentialing assistance, billing, electronic health records, and administrative support. Compensation is based on an agreed percentage of collections, with responsibilities and expenses defined by the contractor agreement.
Contractors maintain an independent professional relationship with WPS rather than an employer–employee relationship, subject to applicable law.
Employment Opportunities (W-2)
WPS is developing flexible employment opportunities for clinicians who prefer the structure and support of an employee relationship while maintaining meaningful input into their professional goals and caseload. See our salary examples!
Depending on the position, compensation may include salary, productivity-based incentives, or a combination tailored to the role and expected clinical workload. Employment arrangements establish defined responsibilities, compensation, and applicable benefits while providing access to our clinical community and practice infrastructure.
We welcome conversations about the working arrangement that best fits your professional goals.
Supervision

In addition to supervision within the group practice, Dr. Weingarden provides supervision to mental health professionals in other practices and treatment settings. Supervision models can include:
-
Learning a specific skill, such as type of therapy or competency with a specific population
-
General psychotherapy supervision that might cover numerous clients and treatment modalities
-
Psychodynamic supervision that tracks and individual client, as well as focusing on interpersonal dynamics within the supervisory relationship
Pre-Licensed Clinicians
We welcome eligible graduate trainees and pre-licensed clinicians seeking a strong foundation in clinical practice. Our training emphasizes thoughtful case conceptualization, evidence-informed treatment, professional development, and meaningful supervision—not simply accumulating clinical hours.
Opportunities depend on training requirements, supervisor availability, and applicable licensing regulations. Our goal is to help developing clinicians become confident, independent professionals.
