Integrative Trauma-Focused Bodywork

A holistic, body-centered complement to therapy and medication for trauma and PTSD.
Led by our Integrative Bodywork Trauma Practitioner, this service takes a whole-person approach to trauma recovery, working somatically through breathwork, neuroaffective touch, yoga, and meditation to address the physical dimensions of trauma. It may be particularly valuable as a complement to talk therapy or medication for clients whose trauma has a strong somatic component.

Integrative, trauma-focused and trauma-informed bodywork services that incorporate evidence-based modalities such as yoga, breathwork, Neuroaffective Touch and meditation. These practices support individuals in processing and integrating the somatic effects of trauma, while improving nervous system regulation, mindfulness, self-awareness, and overall personal growth. Bodywork often involves verbal processing of the experience, which may involve aspects of Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy.
